Demo & Dialogue

Today I had the pleasure of presenting a "demo & dialogue" at Meininger art supply in Denver in conjunction with Arts Students League. I felt a little like Julia Child as I demonstrated an encaustic technique I have been using in some of my recent work: using paint on paper, scraping and lots of sgraffito. The result is textural surface patterns over lush backgrounds.

We had a great crowd, thanks everyone for by and asking such great questions:-)
