Gelli & Wax: the Perfect Combo
We will work with gelatin printing and encaustic painting. Day one is printmaking with “gelli” plates using a variety of papers; no press needed, fast & fun! On day two these prints become under-paintings for encaustic work, letting the colors and shapes inform the process. The resulting art is fun and surprising. Participants must have encaustic experience.
